Hey, beauties! Welcome back for another installment of your favorite beauty blog from your favorite beauty shop! Now that Winter is bidding its final adieu, it’s almost time for most wonderful time of the year: Spring! And, what’s the best part of Spring? You guessed it: Spring Break! You can’t go to Spring Break empty handed—trust me, there’s a ton of thing you need to stay looking effortlessly beautiful! Read on for a roundup of all the must haves to stash if your bag!
Nothing screams “I live in a snow cave” more than white legs and arms. Good thing there’s a quick fix! Grab yourself some of the most amazing self tanner you’ll ever try: Rodial’s Brazilian Airbrush tanner! This incredible tanner goes on with a bronzer so you can see exactly where you sprayed, and dries quickly for a smudge free tan! Two hours later you’ll be a bronzed goddess ready to take on the beach bunnies! Rodial is totally safe to be sprayed on your face (this blogger does!), but, if you want something a little less committed to bronze your face, try a makeup line with a few amazing mineral bronzers: Jane Iredale! Jane’s line of bronzers has something for everyone! If you want a bit of a pink tint with your bronze, reach for So Bronze 1. If tan is what you crave, grab So Bronze 2! Both have a bit of shimmer infused into the product so you’ll glimmer and glisten in the sun!
How do you do your makeup so you look natural, but not the kind of natural you wake up to every morning? Reach no farther than Too Faced’s “Natural Eye” palette. This collection of 9 shadows even features handy dandy cheat cards to show you how to get the perfect look of either classic, night, or fashion. Or, you can make your own look, mixing and matching all the colors! A steal at $36.00, you’ll be able to prance down the beach feeling confident and beautiful—the natural way!
No matter what your hair looks like, when you go to Spring Break, beachy waves are always in! Get the look you crazy by spraying Philip B’s Maui Wowie spray onto towel dried hair and air drying your locks. If your hair is naturally stick straight, try wrapping your hair up in a bun for an hour or so, then releasing. Or, another trick to fake waves is to braid your hair over night, then spray wave spray in dry hair and scrunch up for a fun, textured look. If taking a chance on your natural hair isn’t really your thing, fake a good wave by using a clip less curling iron, and wrap one to two inch sections around the barrel, alternating the direction and size for a funky, undone look. Then, finish with the wave spray to further texturize your locks.
Get all your Spring Break essentials at your local Planet Beauty store! Have fun out there, and don’t forget your SPF!
