Everyone makes a wish list during the holiday season, and I’m no different! As a Beauty Advisor at Planet Beauty, there is no shortage of goodies in the store that I constantly drool over. Here’s what I’m hoping to see under the tree on Christmas! (Mom, I hope you’re reading!)
I love my styling tools! The GHD Shimmering Silver Metallic Styler was recently featured in our Holiday Gift Guide blog, but I am writing about it again because it is SO AMAZING. GHD straighteners are top-of-the-line; they never burn the hair and always leave shiny, smooth locks behind. GHDs can also curl and wave the hair, and I love a tool that can do double-duty! The GHD comes with a heat-resistant mat and a black quilted case to store it in; which is perfect for a jet-setter like myself (I wish!). The extra flashy metallic silver finish is perfect for anyone who loves glitter and shine.
Anyone who loves to style their hair knows they have to help keep it healthy, too. So next on my wish list is AVA Oil. I’m sure most of you have heard of Moroccan Oil and its many benefits. It is amazing for thick hair, but my fine hair doesn’t take well to such heavy oil. AVA Oil is made with lightweight grape seed oil, which gets soaked up by strands and never weighs hair down. AVA Oil is perfect in damp hair; it will cut your blow-dry in half and even provide heat protection (perfect for my addiction to styling tools). It even fights frizz and adds shine to dry hair, too! As if all that weren’t enough, AVA oil smells divine! I fell in love with it as soon as I tried a sample. Here’s to hoping I find a bottle in my stocking!
I love everything about the holidays, but there is always one thing that gets me really excited: Philosophy Holiday gift sets! Out of all the holiday gift sets, The Cook Book Holiday gift set is by far my favorite. It includes: Old Fashioned Eggnog, Hot Buttered Rum, Peppermint Bark and Cinnamon Buns Shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath. Anyone else getting hungry right about now? These scents smell like the real deal, and I have to make a conscious effort not to drink them straight out of the bottle. All of their products have a rich, luxurious lather that pairs wonderfully with the Cook Book Set’s rich scents of Christmas.
No beauty junkie’s wish list is complete without makeup! I love the Smashbox Studio POP Holiday Eye Palette. It has 16(!) Photo Op Eye Shadows and four cream eye liners. The cute palette also has a mirror and get-the-look cards for four different eye looks. The variety of colors allows you to change it up without having to spend a fortune. The eye liners pair well with all the shadows, and are super easy to apply with an eye liner brush.
Last on my Planet Beauty wish list is Peter Thomas Roth Lashes to Die For. The name pretty much says it all; the special spiky brush will grab and lift every single lash to give you huge, voluminous, lengthy lashes. The formula is conditioning as well, so you look fabulous while helping your lashes to stay long and strong.
