A new OPI collection? Yes please! Well, polish addicts, what about TWO new OPI collections?
This spring OPI boasts two new collections, one inspired by the Queen of Hip Hop herself, Nicki Minaj, and the other a tribute to the land of windmills and wooden shoes: Holland!
The Nicki Minaj collection features five new colors plus a shatter color in bright, fun shades perfect for brightening up that winter wardrobe, and will be killer by the pool or beach this summer. Take a look and see what your favorite shade is:
With names inspired by Nicki’s songs (Fly, Did it on’Em, Metallic 4 Life, Pink Friday, Save Me, and Super Bass Shatter) you can rock out like Nicki Minaj anytime you sport these fun, flirty, and eye catching colors on your mani or pedi. Of course, all of these colors look fabulous on their own, but paint a thin coat of Super Bass shatter over completely dry polish to create a funky and textured contrast look. This spring, color your nails fabulous with twelve new shades in bold colors with names as equally energetic showcasing traditional Dutch culture. Names like “Wooden Shoe Like to Know?” (a shimmery chocolate-brown tone) “Thanks a WindMillion” (a sea green color), “Kiss Me on My Tulips (a girly hot pink) highlight Dutch symbols seen throughout the country. Other colors feature names of large cities, like the dark and seductive purple called “Vampsterdam,” or “A Roll in the Hague” which is a bold and bright orange hue, and “I Don’t Give a Rotterdam!” a steely blue shimmery tone.
Other color names include “Gouda Gouda Two Shoes” a light shimmery pink,”Pedal Faster Suzi!” a light lavender, “Dutch ’Ya Just Love OPI?” a gorgeous rich plum, “Red Lights Ahead…Where?” a bright coral red, “I Have Herring Problem” an alluring shimmery green blue, and, of course, a color dedicated to one of Holland’s most famous residents: “Did You ’ear About Van Gogh?” a light shimmery beige. Tip from the Pros: File your nails with a soft nail file first, always going in one direction instead of sawing back and forth.
